Weekend Scenes

Hello – I hope you all had a great weekend!  We had a good one…

Friday night my girlfriends and I went to a concert.  We had the best time, we went out for drinks and dinner first, then met up with our other friends who went at the concert.  I think concerts are the most fun when you go with a group of girlfriends.

Saturday was spent lounging around trying to recuperate from Friday, then in the evening we headed to my mother-in-law’s for pizza and wine.

Sunday morning was a relaxing one.  I started off my day with Pinterest and a cup of coffee – is there any better way to start your morning?  I then made over-easy eggs on a bed of spinach that I thought was amazing, and may probably be my new favorite breakfast.

Of course Sunday’s are football (which I hate).  The kids and I went outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather.  It’s still warm out, but the humidity is gone and there is such a great breeze.  We decided to order some Chinese and eat outside and enjoy the weather a bit more.  This is my favorite time of the year here.  Although I long for “Fall”, I love being able to be outside and not break a sweat!

Hope you all have a great Monday!  I’m off to tackle some cleaning, Hobby Lobby and possibly going to the supermarket to pick up a few things to make a pumpkin cheesecake – if it comes out good, I’ll be sure to share the recipe!

  1. That Chinese food seriously looks like the best ever! I didn't even realize it was take out when you originally posted it. Sounds like a perfect weekend! Family time and mommy time! Win-Win!
